Walmart’s ‘Famous Cars’ Commercial Is Like A LEGO Theme Reunion

All the nostalgia of Ready Player One, but gone in 90 seconds!

Give it a watch and see how many of these classic pop culture vehicles have popped up as LEGO sets or themes. On the first watch through I counted seven. Eight if you wanted to count a failed “Brand X” building block company.

All this needs is the A-Team van and I’m set. Since it’s all about picking up groceries curb side, they haven’t included bikes, though I’m sure there’d be room for a couple of bags on either Akira’s bike or a Tron Light Cycle.

SOL 2018 Day 13 – “Clever Girl”

When Lowery Cruthers says “That first park was legit” in Jurassic World, he was absolutely right. I saw Jurassic Park in theatres when it came out in 1993 and it instantly became one of my favourite monster movies. The sequels have never really lived up to the original, but they’re all fun to watch from time to time, because dinosaurs. I didn’t have to re-watch the first movie while I built this set I’ve waited 25 years for, but of course I did. Let’s do a mini review with this one, shall we? Check This Out! Jurassic Park Gate Vignette by Miro78

Today is the day. Time to go see Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom with my sidekick. To get myself in the mood I re-watched Jurassic World on Monday night and then again yesterday with my son.
