Check This Out! LEGO Butterfly Mimicry by alanboar

You caught a Vivillon! Not really, but that’s the first thing I thought of when I saw alanboar‘s Butterfly Mimicry and with good reason.

The subtle variation in the different butterflies is an example of Batesian mimicry and if you click on the pics you can read more on that from the builder. For me, it’s not only a great example of evolution, but one of customization. This really makes me want to build some butterflies of my own and when I say butterflies, I mean every different variant of Vivillon. Including Poké Ball, my favourite!
