Flickr user /zux has posted photos of the upcoming and highly anticipated Ideas set, Women Of NASA. This is the first time I’ve seen anything that looks official regarding this set, so I’m guessing a store allowed a sale ahead of release date.
That’s certainly lucky for /zux and I can’t wait to get my hands on a couple of these for my son and I. The set Includes minfigure versions of Margaret Hamilton, Nancy Grace Roman, Mae Jemison and Sally Ride all with dioramas. Strangely absent is Katherine Johnson who was in the original pitch. I find it very odd when her story has recently been chronicled in the fantastic Hidden Figures film (which is on Netflix if you still haven’t seen it. Perhaps that caused some kind of copyright issue, I don’t know. I guess we’ll just have to wait for LEGO’s official announcement to find out more.
